Profile
It's not hard to see why Kili is often described as an urban ski lodge—it has a working fireplace, snowflake-patterned windows, and a relaxing vibe. The drinkers here aren't fresh from the slopes, though—or even fresh from the Slope—but from the edge of Boerum Hill, an area inhabited by a diverse crowd of young, artistic professionals. These trendsetters frequently fill Kili's plush benches or take up the spattering of tables and nosh on bar food like tasty burgers and hearty salads. However, on some nights, the bar is surprisingly empty, which makes it a comfortable place for a calm drink. If a quiet fireside chat isn't what you're after, go late on Tuesdays through Saturdays, when there's a DJ, or Tuesdays when an acoustic open mic night kicks up some extra sparks.
