Profile
This Italian accessories brand brings luxe chronograph watches, jewelry, sunglasses, and leather goods to its first U.S. outpost, opened in summer 2008. The elegant, bi-level boutique was designed by Italian painter and art director Andrea Rosso, and features a wall of hand-painted Italian ceramic tiles. On the main floor, chic leather travel bags rest on built-in shelves and eyewear with colored lenses is highlighted by a backlit wall. The jewelry is simple and sophisticated, forgoing gemstones for a mix of eighteen-karat gold, sterling silver, and steel. Boule drop necklaces, delicate red gold rings, and slim, modern bracelets are presented in simple glass cases lining the walls. Custom-made overhead lighting casts a dim glow over the downstairs space, where shoppers browse dozens of watches while seated in front of the long, bar-like display. The Swiss made chrono watches are the most popular choice for women and men, with an assortment of bands in stainless steel, leather, rubber, or silky aqualino snakeskin.

While the rest of the city scurries up and down Broadway, these three micro–shopping districts remain blissfully unpicked-over.
